The artist Valentina Bilbao presented in the framework of the VI International Fair of Valencia her latest work, a set of fourteen works full of color, which had as its main protagonist of the bull, strength and challenge of the so-called bullfighting. Dr. Vicente Lozano, president of the Fair Organizing Committee, visited the studio of the artist to ask her to submit a sample combining the creative elements of light and tropical tones with which is unveiled in the exhibitions. Inspired by the natural beauty of our beaches and jungles, Valentina Cascarano Bilbao, is an artist, Venezuelan, born in Caracas, but since she was little has been living in Valencia, where at very young age she discovered her love for the arts, disciplining and learning new techniques in order to develop her artistic skills.
She graduated as a psychologist and studied at the School of Art “Arturo Michelena”. After many trials that are deciphered in the white sands of Chichester, in the sun Tucacas, in the harmony of the sea, its fish, air, rocks and palm trees, where all her poetic universe: She who draws is always looking for a conceptual harmony, positive energy. She also felt the need to convey that knowledge, so she created the drawing and painting workshop “Brushstrokes”, which had children and youth of different ages. Bilbao is characterized by capture in her works a definitive expression of emotions, joy, passion and love with spontaneity, energy and strength through a wide range of colors, textures, shapes and figures, what makes these works, some paintings very comprehensive and rich in content. Also you can see, that her works have balance and harmony, as a result of the sum of many conjugate elements in the right proportions, making it appear that come alive and be maintained in constant motion.
The color is the main character of her works and with which other elements are combined. This technique is the result of admiration and study of impressionism and surrealism and other artistic movements, evidence synthesis and integration capability.
